What the Coaching tier is

The Coaching tier is the premium membership in the iBD ecosystem. $5,000 per month. Six-month minimum, then month-to-month.

It is not a separate program. It is the Boardroom layer (everything described on the Boardroom page) plus a dedicated Ownership Coach who works with you inside your ownership rhythm.

$2,500 of the $5,000 is the Boardroom layer. $2,500 is the Ownership Coach. You get all of the Boardroom (the seven components) and you get the coach on top of it.

Who your Ownership Coach is

The Ownership Coach is not a generic business coach.

They have built a business, scaled it, made the big decisions, taken the exit. They have been the owner who could not sleep at 3 a.m. wondering if payroll would clear. They have made the hire that did not work. They have lived the cycle and they have the scars to prove it.

They think about your business as an investment. Capital allocation. Valuation. The wealth math. The trade-offs between distributions and reinvestment, between growth and freedom.

They also understand operations and the emotion of owning a company, because they have been the operator and the owner at the same time. Both seats. Same person. That is the qualification.

The closest analogy in the corporate world is the operating partner that a PE-backed CEO has, the person above the CEO who has lived the cycle and holds the strategy with them. Ninety minutes. Every month. One-on-one with your Ownership Coach.

The session is structured around your Owner’s Scorecard, your Roadmap, your 90-Day Game Plan, and whatever your current constraint is. Not ad hoc advice. Not generic coaching prompts. A governed application of the iBD Ownership OS™ to your specific situation, with someone who has the full context.

You arrive prepared. Your coach has reviewed your last transcript, your Game Plan updates, your Scorecard snapshot, and the exercises you finished since you last met. The session works the constraint that actually matters this month.

Quarterly: your Virtual Board Meeting

A half-day. Every quarter. Your Ownership Coach facilitates a virtual board meeting for your business.

Three acts. Act one: numbers review with your financial lead. Act two: your functional leaders present. Act three: decisions and the next 90-Day Game Plan. Your coach is the GP-level facilitator who keeps the meeting at the ownership altitude and refuses to let it slip back into operator-level conversation.

This is the Quarterly Boardroom Rhythm™ installed in Module 3 of the OS. Your coach facilitates it for the first year so you learn how it should run. Eventually you run it yourself with your coach in the room.

Annually: the budgeting process

Three to four sessions across the back half of the year. Your Ownership Coach leads the annual budgeting process.

A note on the math

The Coaching tier is $5,000 per month. Six-month minimum. Then month-to-month.

$2,500 of that is the Boardroom layer. The same Boardroom a Boardroom-only member pays for. You get all of it.

$2,500 is the Ownership Coach premium. The premium is not for another functional leader. You probably already have a CFO or a fractional CFO. You may have a CRO. You may have a COO. They are doing their jobs. They each see a piece of the business.

The Ownership Coach is the only seat besides yours that holds all of it at once. Finance, revenue, operations, team, family, wealth, and the ownership goals underneath all of them.
